Rust-proof, impact-resistant vinyl corner reinforcement
Vinyl corner bead is a rigid, easy-to-apply 90° corner reinforcement that can be nailed or
stapled into place. Multiple perforations along the 1-1/4" flanges enhance joint compound
bonding. The pronounced nose provides a ground and screed to help the finisher achieve
precise finishing depth.
Rigid vinyl is dent resistant, rust proof and maintains shape with no sharp edges or burrs
when field cut. All vinyl products readily accept finish treatments such as paint and spray
or roll-on textures.

Versatile, rigid corner reinforcement for off-angled wallboard intersections
120/135° corner or splayed bead is used to finish off angle interior corners from
120–135°. Designed to provide straight, rust-proof, dent-resistant corners, the flexibility
of vinyl splay bead allows a flush fit on many unusual outside wallboard intersections.

Vinyl 093 Control Joint (VCJT)
Used to relieve expansion and contraction stresses
Vinyl 093 Control Joint is applied between abutting gypsum panels and is used to relieve
stresses of expansion and contraction of drywall in large ceiling and wall expanses
over 30'. Control joints are installed from door header to ceiling, from floor to ceiling in
long partition runs and from wall to wall in large ceiling areas.
Plastic tape protects 1/4" opening x 7/16" deep reveal and is removed after compound
is applied and finished. Where sound transmission is a consideration, an approved seal
must be provided behind control joint. Use metal control joints wherever fire ratings are
a concern.
